North Terrace Scholarship Application

Purpose for Giving Scholarships
To invest in and support aspiring ministry leaders by providing financial assistance
Requirements for Eligibility
Must be a member of North Terrace
Must be a full-time or part-time student at a Restoration Movement Higher Education Institution
Must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher
Application Deadline
March 1st to receive a scholarship for first semester (For example, for first semester scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year, the application deadline is Mar. 1st, 2019.)
September 1st to receive a scholarship for second semester (For example, for second semester scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year, the application deadline is Sept. 1st, 2019.)
Student Classifications
Vocational Ministry Major: a student enrolled in a degree program specifically designed to prepare students for local church vocational ministry (Examples: preaching, worship ministry, youth ministry, children’s ministry etc.)
Non-Vocational Ministry Major: a student enrolled in a degree program designed to prepare students to work and do ministry in the corporate world rather than in a local church vocational ministry role (Examples: business, psychology, communications, etc.)
Full Time: 12+ credit hours
Part Time: 6-11 credit hours
Vocational Ministry Scholarship Amounts
Full Time Vocational Ministry Major: $1000 per year (or $500 per semester)
Part Time Vocational Ministry Major: $500 per year (or $250 per semester)
Non-Vocational Ministry Scholarship Amounts
Full Time Non-Vocational Ministry Major: $500 per year (or $250 per semester)
Part Time Non-Vocational Ministry Major: $250 per year (or $125 per semester)
Scholarship Approval Process
All scholarship money comes from the North Terrace Missions budget. Each year, applicant information is compiled by the student minister & submitted to the Missions Team for approval. Scholarship availability is dependent on the number of applicants and amount of funds available.
